Hope everyone is having a lovely February so far...and staying warm, to boot!
We are still looking to get dryer duct servicing throughout the complex at a very cost effective group rate. This is an important maintenance item that helps prevent fire hazards by cleaning out debris from dryer ducts, and will also help keep your machine running more efficiently. If we are able to get at least 25 units to sign up, Action Duct Cleaning has quoted us a price of $45 per unit, which is an excellent discount from the normal service cost of $149. Please sign up online here by February 25th.
Our insurance policies have been renewed for the coming year, and the HOA is renewing the same policies with Travelers and Timothy Cline Insurance Agency. They provide good coverage, and the overall cost of the premiums has gone down for this year’s renewal period. We have also obtained a refund on a year’s worth of worker’s comp insurance from a period of duplicate active policies that was discovered last year (the duplicate policy has since been canceled).
The HOA is in good financial standing, and currently staying within budget. The refund for the duplicate worker’s comp policy will cover the cost of this year’s policy renewal.
Our next general meeting will be held on March 4, 2019, at 7PM, at 4430 Kling.
UPCOMING ELECTION:
Our annual election meeting will be held on April 1, 2019 at Spirit Works.
You should have received the election material in the mail a couple weeks ago, including the Candidate Nomination Form. There are two positions to be filled for the 2019-2021 term.
